What is the role?
To assist the Bar Manager in all aspects of running The Dell pub on match days and non-match days, ensuring the pub is a go to for all.
What will you be doing?
* Supporting the manager in overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, including managing team and scheduling shifts.
* Collaborating with the manager to develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profits.
* Ensuring that food and beverage quality and presentation meet high standards by conducting regular taste tests and monitoring customer feedback.
* Maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.
* Managing inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure efficient operation of the restaurant.
* Address any issues or complaints raised by customers taking appropriate action to resolve them and pro-actively reducing future complaints.
* Work closely with other departments within the stadium to ensure smooth operations.
* Contribute to special events and promotions to drive business during quiet periods.
* Contribute to creating a positive and professional environment within the team.
Is this you?
Qualifications
* Proven experience in managing a busy restaurant or similar establishment.
* Food Safety Certificate L2 or L3
* Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining exceptionally high standards.
* Strong Knowledge of food and beverage.
* Familiarity with industry trends and best practices in restaurant management.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
