An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and innovative Podiatry Clinical and Operational Lead in Hertfordshire. We are looking for an applicant who is dynamic and passionate about their work.
Based in Hemel Hempstead, you will lead the Podiatry team across West Hertfordshire and work closely alongside the clinical and administrative teams with support from the Clinical Head of Service to develop services to provide a modern and robust service.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for an inspirational and approachable leader, who works in a non-judgmental way, building robust working relationships within the multi-disciplinary team and with our patient group.
You will provide support to individuals and teams but be able to make decisions to strengthen performance and deliver quality outcomes for the local population.

7. The purpose of this role is to provide expert operational leadership in conjunction with the clinical team to deliver, monitor service standards and ensure quality of care.
8. The post holder will be accountable for the provision of effective professional leadership and pro-active resource management for all relevant pathways.
9. As a professional practitioner, the post holder will be expected to create an environment of continuous quality improvement and professional development ensuring that the delivery of care is regularly reviewed and that service developments are implemented when necessary

10. Current AHP with UK HCPC registration
11. Podiatry professional qualification.
12. Evidence of CPD maintained in a portfolio including attendance at recent postgraduate courses
13. Broad range of clinical experience relevant to the post.
