Electrical Project Engineer
Based: Rugby, Warwickshire
Salary: Competitive salary dependent on knowledge, experience and skill
Working Hours: 8am – 4:30pm Mon - Fri
Job Purpose:
The Electrical Project Engineer will be responsible for managing the Electrical & C&I aspects of all projects assigned by the Project Manager. In executing a project, the Electrical Project engineer would also be expected to act as Electrical Supervisor. Depending on the size and number of projects being managed, additional external resources may require management to ensure all the responsibilities shown are carried out correctly. The Electrical Project Engineer will allocate or coordinate appropriate resources to deliver excellence on plant projects, whilst meeting Safety, Health, Environmental, production, quality, and financial requirements.
All Capital Projects’ definition, design and delivery will be line with current project management procedures, based on the 5-year capital plan and agreed budgets with reference to the Construction Design and Management Regulations (CDM) and in line with the companies Policies & legislation to achieve our goals of zero injuries.
Main Accountabilities:
* Ensure all construction is carried out safely and in line with current regulations and standards
* Conduct regular site audits to ensure compliance
* Plan and control the Projects throughout their lifecycle.
