Job Description
This is an ideal position for a Guest Service Manager who is looking to take the next step in their career and join our busy Ibis Styles Birmingham NEC& Airport in this full-time position working 40 hours a week.
Perfect for someone with hotel experience and a passion for food and beverage and customer service, the role offers a salary of £28,000 per annum plus benefits.
The role:
* You will be a hands-on leader within the Food & Beverage department, ensuring exceptional service across all areas while setting a great example for your team.
* Your main focus will be leading and inspiring the F&B team to deliver outstanding dining and bar experiences for our guests.
* You will actively work in the restaurant and bar, covering shifts and maintaining high service standards.
* With a large meeting and event space, you will play a key role in supporting the team in delivering seamless food and beverage service for conferences and functions.
* Additionally, you will be responsible for creating and managing departmental rotas to ensure smooth operations.
A bit about you:
* Proven supervisory experience in hospitality, ideally within Accor-brand properties.
* 2 years hospitality management or supervisory experience is essential.
* A solid background in F&B operations.
* Guest service is a top priority for you.
* Collaboration is key in your work ethic.
* Networking and engaging with new faces is part of your skill set.
* Proficient in computers and adept at handling calls professionally.
* As an experienced hotelier you know that we're a 24/7 operation, so flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays should be expected.
ibis Styles Birmingham Airport & NEC is a busy hotel welcoming conference delegates and world travellers and has a busy F&B and conferencing operations in addition to its guest accommodation. There's parking onsite and Birmingham International train station is just a few minutes walk away.
