Instrumentation Technician

Working Hours 8am-4:30pm Mon-Thurs & 8am-1pm Fri
12 month contract (likely to be extended)
Do you have 1+ years of experience in instrumentation calibration of measurement equipment? If so, this could be a great opportunity for you.
Responsibilities of the Instrumentation Technician
Work to procedures/instructions to perform safe and defect free instrumentation solutions.
Implement Data Acquisition solutions to support testing of various powertrains to engineering requirements.
Operate a multitude of different off-highway vehicles including but not limited to, Hydraulic Excavators, Backhoe Loaders, Telehandlers, Track Type Tractors where required.
Diagnose and fix a range of faults data logging systems and sensors.
Work from engineering electrical drawings.
Produce electrical looms to interface powertrains to machine.
Qualifications & Experience Required of the Instrumentation Technician
The ability to read, comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions/procedures.
The ability to work closely with others is imperative, requiring team participation to achieve the agreed objectives.
A working knowledge of instrumentation and its application.
You will possess effective communication skills to liaise with various levels of the organization.
Have a fully flexible approach to the job role & responsibilities.
