Exciting opportunity to join the brilliant nursing team at Highcroft Vets, Hailsham, East Sussex.
Your future begins here.
Highcroft is a small animal practice based in a growing market town, close to an area of outstanding natural beauty, approximately 7 miles from the coast and with excellent train links to Brighton and London nearby.
We are a PSS accredited (General Practice) and a Veterinary Nurse Training Centre, dedicated to high quality care. Highcroft Vets is well equipped with excellent digital X-ray facilities, high quality ultrasound, dental X-ray, iM3 dental station and up to date anaesthetic monitoring, along with regularly updated, team-driven policies and protocols to ensure standards are met whilst also maintaining job satisfaction.
Our in-house laboratory includes a full range of Idexx analysers, and a Class IV K-laser is used both post operatively and during VN clinics. Separate cattery, kennels, lab, and dispensary plus an outdoor exercise area offer excellent inpatient facilities.
Find progression
The role is varied, with theatre work, kennels, laboratory duties, and nurse clinics equally shared amongst the team. There will be some client care and administrative duties.
Our nurses work a rota with shifts ranging between 08:00am - 19:00pm, plus a weekend rota of 1:4 Saturdays, working 08:30am-12:30pm, with no OOH or Bank Holiday work.
