Job summary The Team Secretary will provide full confidential and efficient secretarial and administrative support to the CAMHS Team. Working closely with the Business Support Officer. The post holder will be required to work on his/her own initiative and demonstrate a willingness to help others and be a key member of the team. The post holder will be expected to be able to prioritise work and meet deadlines in order to fulfil the requirements of the post. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential with an ability to deal with highly sensitive and challenging situations. The post holder will be required to utilise a personal computer for word processing and database management. Main duties of the job Provide a highly confidential and sensitive administrative support to the CYP Crisis and Intensive Support Team Produce a range of highly confidential, good quality documents including letters, memoranda, team minutes etc. from written and audio transcription, also composing correspondence where required. Receive phone calls and general enquiries from families, professionals, various agencies (both statutory and voluntary) in a confidential, courteous and sensitive manner as per Trust policy, referring telephone queries to a more senior colleague where appropriate.
