Overview:
Harry at Amber Mace is working with a well-established Care Provider across the UK are are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join their dynamic team in Woking. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in expanding their new care services whilst growing and developing the existing services, with a focus on mental health and learning disability services. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a strong background in business development within the care sector, particularly in step-down services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans to expand our care services, particularly in mental health and learning disabilities.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including the commissioning of new services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including local authorities, healthcare providers, and commissioning bodies.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.
- Prepare and present business proposals, bids, and tenders to secure new contracts.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the successful implementation of new services.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of new services to ensure they meet regulatory standards and client expectations.
- Stay up-to-date with industry regulations, including CQC requirements, and ensure compliance across all services.
- Provide regular reports on business development activities and progress to senior management.
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in business development within the care sector, specifically with care providers.
- Demonstrated success in securing new services and commissioning experience.
- In-depth understanding of mental health and learning disability services.
- Experience or understanding of step-down services.
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
