Account Manager
Location: London
Salary & Package: £40,000 - £55,000 OTE £65,000 - £75,000, plus car allowance, mileage, commission, phone, laptop, pension and 28 days holiday inclusive of statutory days
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Account Manager with a proven background in water hygiene solutions to join our team. This role is ideally suited for candidates with experience in the healthcare and care home sectors, who are passionate about promoting safe water hygiene practices to protect vulnerable populations. Based in the Home Counties, you'll manage and grow a territory by fostering strong relationships, identifying opportunities, and delivering tailored solutions that align with our clients' safety and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships.
Understand client needs and tailor services to meet their compliance and operational goals.
Ensure client sites comply with relevant water hygiene and Legionella regulations, such as ACoP L8 and HSG274.
Provide advice and guidance on risk assessments, control measures, and remedial actions.
Oversee the implementation of water hygiene services, including risk assessments, monitoring, and remedial works.
Conduct site visits and audits to ensure service quality and compliance.
Identify opportunities to expand service offerings with existing clients and secure new business.
Prepare proposals and quotes for additional services or contracts.
Meet or exceed sales and retention targets.
Skills & Experience
Healthcare experience
Full UK Driving Licence
Minimum of 3 years experience in an Account Manager role within Water Hygiene
Able to pass an enhanced DBS
Commercially minded
