Job Description
1. Prepare and review corporate tax returns and computations
2. Assist with tax planning projects for clients
3. Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely delivery of service
4. Hybrid entity capital allowances
5. CIR reporting
6. Provide tax advice to clients, keeping them updated on changes in tax legislation
7. Communicate effectively with clients and HMRC
8. Work collaboratively within the tax department
9. Contribute to the development of the tax department through participation in team meetings and training sessions
10. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations
The Successful Applicant
A successful Corporate Tax Assistant Manager should have:
1. A degree in a relevant field such as Accounting, Finance or Law
2. Professional tax or accounting qualification (e.g., ATT, CTA, ACCA, ACA)
3. Proven experience in a corporate tax role within a professional services firm
4. Solid understanding of UK tax legislation
5. Excellent communication and client service skills
6. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
