More about your role
We are looking for a Housing Key Worker to join our team in the St Ann's area of Nottingham.
You will be working closely with our customers to develop, deliver and co-ordinate housing management and well-being support to a small number of Families who have experienced multiple disadvantage. You will join a small, dedicated team who are passionate about supporting Customers working with a Trauma Informed Approach.
You will play a key role inducting new Customers to the service, providing advice and guidance to prepare them for independent living in their own tenancy. You will be responsible for carrying out risk assessments and other health and safety monitoring as well as working closely with the housing management team regarding reporting repairs and maintenance.

You will have experience working in potentially challenging situations, resilience is a key character trait for this role. Ideally you will have local knowledge to share with our customers.
Ideally you will have a good knowledge of housing management best practice, the letting procedures and tenancy compliance. It is imperative that you have previous experience supporting Customers facing multiple disadvantage.
Ideally you will be a confident I.T. user who is a confident communicator that can influence in a positive manner when required. A good knowledge of the benefits system would be desirable but not essential.
