Job Title: Site-Based Maintenance Electrician
Location: Cramlington
Contract: Commercial site
Salary: up to £39,000 per annum (based on experience)
My client is a large facilities and maintenance company who operates in various sectors across the commercial sector. They are currently looking for an experienced maintenance electrician to join an established team on a static site in Cramlington. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified electrician looking for a stable, long-term position with a competitive salary. The role is full-time, permanent with a facility for free parking onsite.

Responsibilities will include:
* Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on electrical systems and equipment.
* Conduct periodic inspections to identify issues and prevent breakdowns.
* Respond promptly to emergency electrical issues and ensure swift resolution.
* Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work and repairs.
* Collaborate with other maintenance staff to ensure smooth operations.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Applicants for the role must possess the following:
* Fully qualified electrician with relevant certifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, AM 2, Inspection and testing, 18th edition, Electrical apprenticeship)
* Desirable: (ONC / HNC Electrical or Electronics AP - LV/HV, HV, ATEX, IPAF, Confined space entry qualified, IOSH working safely)
* Ability to make decisions and control a number of concurrent delegated tasks
* Carry out Electrical maintenance and repair works as requested and directed by Electrical Team Leader/Maintenance Supervisor/Manager
* Ensure all assigned Electrical Maintenance Team tasks are carried out safely.
* Ability to communicate to all levels in a professional manner.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Flexibility to work shift patterns as required.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* 3rd party contractor management
* Must be able to obtain DBS before joining the job
