About the opportunity:
1. Manage planning conditions, S106 obligations, and technical design changes.
2. Prepare and submit planning applications, amendments, and non-material variations.
3. Lead design tenders, review submissions, and appoint consultants.
4. Maintain design program and coordinate working drawing packages.
5. Ensure compliance with Building Regulations and environmental constraints.
6. Approve supplier information, sales literature, and ensure standards compliance.
7. Track fees, prepare cost reports, and secure necessary agreements.
8. Support site processes, resolve queries, and assist the sales team.
9. Attend meetings and site visits as needed.
About the benefits and rewards:
The salary will be dependent on the level of exposure to the residential industry. The company offers excellent opportunities and provides a basic salary in the region of up to £55k DOE. In addition to the basic salary, there will be further company benefits.
About the requirements:
1. Knowledge of the full development/technical process
2. Experience as an Assistant or Technical Coordinator in development (preferred)
3. Industry-related qualification and professional accreditation (RICS, CIOB, ICE, or RIBA)
4. Ability to meet tight deadlines and work independently
5. Strong communication and teamwork skills
6. Experience managing external consultant teams
7. Engineering experience (preferably in architectural consultancy or development)
8. Background in housebuilding, construction, or fire remediation projects
9. Degree in architecture, planning, civil engineering, or related field
10. Strong attention to detail and commitment to inclusion and diversity
11. Proficient in IT skills
