Product Manager
The primary purpose of this role is to manage Data & AI (D&A) Products that will accelerate and improve probability of success of Manufacturing & Engineering activities in GSK’s Global Supply Chain, directly aligned to GSC’s Smart Manufacturing Digital Transformation Program. This role will act as a strategic bridge between business and Tech/Data worlds. This role will leverage business domain understanding, D&A expertise, and Product Management skills to define and agree vision and roadmaps for individual D&A products such as the Factory Integration Layer, transformative AI use cases, and Master Data Management for the Manufacturing & Engineering businesses.
This role will work closely with the Director of Data and AI Product Management, and business stakeholders (at both our factories and in central teams) to identify opportunities, assess value, prioritise work and define requirements. It will work equally closely with product owners, Tech & Data experts and business representatives to design, deliver, embed and support high-quality D&A solutions.
Day-to-day you will use your data analytics, business domain and product management expertise to define and refine D&A product visions, strategies and roadmaps to drive the design and delivery of high-quality D&A solutions (to enable the company to achieve its objectives). Your responsibilities will extend to overseeing an annual budgetary spend as you work with up to 15 third-party data/tech specialists.

In this role you will
* Understanding needs, business processes and data requirements of customer-groups and users, and manage key business relationships for your D&AI products, as well as combining business understanding with knowledge of established and emerging D&AI capabilities to identify and cultivate D&AI use-cases from ideas into potential D&AI products
* Creating clear and compelling D&A Product vision, strategy and roadmap to deliver value across the Product lifecycle in line with strategies and priorities of customers
* Thinking and acting with agility, using experimentation, user demos and other sources of rapid feedback to iteratively refine the D&A Product Roadmap and backlog throughout the Product lifecycle
* Overseeing development team of internal and external D&AI experts and enabling them to be effective by ensuring they have clear requirements to design and deliver against, by making timely decisions and by working with customers and other Product teams to reduce dependencies and remove blockers
* Engaging with D&AI Architecture team and others to ensure D&AI Product technical design aligns with target architecture and established standards
* Ensuring overall quality and compliance of D&A Products, including GxP Validation if required
Please note that there are some travel requirements for the role dependent on organizational need (circa 15%).

Basic Qualifications & Skills:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
* Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, engineering, science, or a related discipline
* Extensive Experience in Data and Analytics: Deep understanding of data and analytics technologies, methodologies, and trends. This should include experience with data modelling, data management, data governance and use of analytics/AI platforms.
* Product Management Expertise: Strong experience in product management, including a track record of successfully managing and delivering complex data and analytics products in a large enterprise. This experience should encompass product strategy, roadmap development, stakeholder management, and product lifecycle management.
* Business Acumen: Solid understanding of pharmaceutical industry business processes, specifically in commercial manufacturing. Able to anticipate the needs of key business stakeholders, align product strategies with customer priorities, and drive value realization.
* Technical Expertise: Strong technical background in cloud-based data and analytics across full stack from data architecture and integration to data visualisation and analytics as well as experience in more cutting-edge/emerging technologies. Also have experience in ensuring technical designs align with target architecture and established standards.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

* Master’s Degree in Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related Discipline
* Comprehensive understanding of Industry 4.0, Cloud Purdue Model, S88/S95 Models, RAMI 4.0 Functional Layers (Business, Functional, Information, Communication, Integration, Assets, Operations, Control), IIoT Industrial Internet, Factory of the Future, Industrial Internet, Streaming Analytics and Digital Twins
* Exceptional strategic thought partner, ability to lead in strong co-creation and collaboration with Digital and business partners across GSK.
* Demonstrated ability to bring creative ideas and drive digital innovation, leading with the customer in mind; has exceptional judgement about which innovations to pursue; able project how potential ideas may play out in the marketplace.
* Experience across multiple architecture environments including ERP systems (e.g., SAP), MES, Historians, customer facing technologies (e.g., Salesforce.com), and other enterprise technologies and platforms.
