Our client has created a new role within their ever expanding business for a multi skilled Facilities maintenance engineer. This role will be to ensure that the office, factory and associated facilities are always maintained to the highest possible standards and that the building infrastructure and fabric are robustly protected and cared for, including the operation of ancillary equipment. Liaise with facilities contractors. Supervisory of Apprentices team. The ideal candidate will be a capable individual who is highly motivated, has excellent communication skills, highly organized, articulate and able to work under pressure whilst being able to prioritize workloads. They will be able to undertake all duties as listed in the job description, essential and desirable criteria as below. They will be able to support and assist apprentices, acting as mentor and teacher as and when required. essential skills/qualifications: Previous proven experience within a facilities maintenance/multi skilled maintenance role. Qualified to min 17th editions electrical wiring. Formal engineering qualification/extensive time served. Strong IT skills - able to update CRM systems Able to troubleshoot/diagnose faults electrical and mechanical on various equipment using drawings/schematics. Must have a full clean driving licence. Desirable skills/qualifications: Welding/Fabrication experience (mig/contact) Experience in maintaining Industrial doors/loading bays This is a days role Monday - Friday 37.5 hours per week, but can involve paid overtime on weekends as required.
