Account Manager, Technical Sales – Northeast U.S. Region

ENGEL Machinery North America has a job opportunity for an Account Manager, Technical Sales based in the Northeast U.S. Region
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Responsible for Engel injection molding machine sales portfolio for the Northeast United States.
* Develop sales portfolio strategy and timeline by evaluating market trends, client requirements, and alignment with injection molding product capabilities.
* Identify prospective clients through online media, digital libraries, in-person seminars, conferences, and trade fairs.
* Pursue prospective leads, arrange business meetings, and assess client requirements.
* Present and offer product solutions and advise on product integrations with client products and processes.
* Create and present complete solution proposals.
* Negotiate final solution sales terms, including product specifications, price, discounts, commercial and payment terms, delivery date, and defined warranties.
* Continuously manage and improve business relationships with clients within the account portfolio.
* Serve as point of contact for supplied equipment and resolve issues concerning service, troubleshooting, or specialized requests in coordination with internal departments (Service, Design, Engineering, Sales, Legal).
* Periodic domestic travel required to various unanticipated locations across the Northeast U.S. to meet with current and prospective clients.
* Occasional international business travel to Europe required.
* May work remotely full-time from within the Northeast U.S.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Six (6) years of experience in injection molding equipment sales.
* Prior experience must include six (6) years in/with:
o Managing a sales portfolio of automatic injection molding machinery, including material properties, machine design, and processing capabilities.
o Cross-functional stakeholder management to troubleshoot and resolve product issues.
o Injection molding mathematical concepts such as machine utilization, hopper capacity, shot volume and weight, injection pressure, intensification ratio, and clamp tonnage.
o Full sales lifecycle management, including prospecting, initiating contact, qualifying prospects, nurturing client relationships, presenting solutions, negotiating sales proposals, resolving client objections, securing sales, and providing after-sales support.
o Intercultural communication to navigate cultural differences and interact with culturally diverse teams and clients.
