Role Description
As the leader of the finance team, the candidate will be a motivator and team mentor who provides the foundations for success. They will be a great communicator, someone who listens, takes the time to understand, and learns every day, enhancing their knowledge, skills, and abilities, helping the company achieve its strategic aims.
This is a full-time role for a Financial Controller at Brand Revolution. The Financial Controller will be responsible for financial statements, analytical tasks, finance management, financial reporting, and accounting. The position is primarily located in St Austell, but some remote work is acceptable.

Key Responsibilities
* Leading, guiding & motivating the finance team
* Overseeing the company’s day-to-day financial operation
* Maintaining and implementing financial policies and management information systems, alongside establishing effective communication channels for info management on all aspects of company finance
* Implement recommendations to achieve the most profitable result
* Assist with the budgeting, forecasting, and planning process
* Assist with the support for all departments, guiding them in planning and managing their departmental budgets
* Review spending against budget, with individual departments
* Oversee the implementation of a robust financial system
* Prepare financial statements: historical & projection
* Supervise the preparation of monthly management accounts, annual accounts, VAT returns
* Manage the audit process and liaise with external personnel (Solicitors, banks, etc.)
* Improve efficiencies and reduce costs
* Oversee cash flow management
