Alderley Park Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Project Manager for our notable client in the Labratory Relocation Industry. This is a permanent position based in Alderley Edge and is paying a salary of £45,000 per annum.

Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a Project Manager responsible for quoting, planning, coordinating, and executing laboratory relocation projects within the UK and worldwide. This is an opportunity to join a small but expanding team, driving the department forward. The role ensures that lab moves are completed on time, within budget, and with minimal disruption to scientific operations. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, and experience in laboratory environments, though this is not essential.
Main Responsibilities:

Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including Ops team, Sales, and Finance, to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods as agreed with clients.

Provide quotes to clients and add client inquiries to the portal system for tracking and transparency with the wider team.
*
Communicate project requirements to the Ops team, check understanding, and inform of access issues, tools, and vehicles needed.
*
Develop and maintain a network of suppliers, logistics providers, and other partners to support operations, including import/export activities.
*
Liaise with existing contacts to continue strong business partnerships.
*
Investigate areas for improvement in services, including methods to streamline processes and identifying new suppliers to enhance client experiences.
*
Coordinate regular meetings with the client base to gather feedback on projects, implement process improvements, and maintain partnerships.
*
Conduct site visits as required.
*
Perform investigative calls/visits with prospective clients to discuss potential relocation requirements.
*
Track projects through the CRM portal.
*
Communicate with partners to enhance services and offer quotations for international relocations.
*
Submit insurance requests for projects as applicable.
