A Major Tier 1 Supplier in the Automotive sector is looking for a Quality Systems Engineer to join their team at their impressive site in the Wolverhampton area.
Role: Quality Systems Engineer
Location: Wolverhampton
Salary: Up to GBP 47,000 per annum + pension + benefits
Shift: Days (Mon-Fri)
Key Responsibilities:
1. Reporting to the Plant Quality Manager.
2. Maintain and develop the company's quality and environmental management system documentation, ensuring proper control and supervision of amendments and revisions.
3. Manage the distribution of all quality and environmental system-related documents.
4. Support the development and implementation of new business systems, including training, awareness, support, and assessment.
5. Coordinate internal audits in accordance with the company's schedule.
6. Oversee external audits, including re-certification and customer audits.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive system and quality improvements.
8. Support initiatives to enhance system efficiency and raise quality and environmental awareness.
9. Work effectively with internal and external partners to improve processes.
Key Requirements:
1. Proven experience in maintaining and developing Quality Business Systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
2. Qualified as a minimum ISO 9001/14001 Lead Auditor.
3. Strong knowledge of methodologies for developing PFMEA, control plans, and standardized work documents.
4. Understanding of internal audits and their importance in business operations.
Qualifications:
* ISO 9001/14001 Lead Auditor qualification minimum.
* ISO 14001 (Environmental) Lead Auditor qualification minimum.
