If successful you will be a leader within the team; providing support and inspiring your staff. Main duties of the job The role of the Clinical Nurse Specialist is to provide specialist clinical interventions to our young people, their families and loved ones. It also involves delivery of leadership activities within the team. If appointed, you will: Deliver clinical interventions. Work as a non-medical prescriber. Offer support, supervision and informal training to your colleagues. Contribute to multi-disciplinary team (MDT) meetings. Undertake other clinical tasks within the team. Deputise for the Community Team Manager on occasion. You will have a nursing qualification, trained as a non-medical prescriber, and will have developed their skills through extensive experience in mental health.
