Description Rework Supervisor, La Doria Ipswich Shift Pattern: Fixed days Monday to Friday, 45 hrs a week Salary: £32,000 pa Summary and purpose of position: To assume overall management for the Rework area including the co-pack work, consolidations, ad hoc rework, bailing, banding and strapping MUs and completing any urgent checks/shot loads required as needed. The role should ensure we have sufficient labour that is managed to ensure we achieve and exceed productivity rates while maintaining and improving health and safety standards in the area The individual will liaise with different stakeholders to ensure all work is carried out to the correct specification and stock control is maintained at all times. We are “Great people delivering sustainable supply chain value”. Duties and responsibilities: Control all areas of the rework area ensuring the correct labour is utilised within or below budget. Liaising with the LDH quality control team to ensure the rework is completed to the required standard/specification Ensure stock management for the area to ensure that pallets are systematically accurate and able to be released for dispatch if required on the day the work is complete. Managing packaging – ensure manual stock checks are accurate and its suitably stored. Working with LDH quality control to manage Fair share pallet levels by ensuring accurate stock checks. Accurate tracking and allocation of labour against customer job codes Ability to analyse the rework data recorded to understand the labour costs per non-conformance Organise and prioritise rework required requesting additional labour as required. To track the teams productivity levels and ensure that the team meet or exceed targets Support on implementing improvements in the rework area Document tasks complete and update the operational stats accurately. Support on training new starters and roll out of any new SSOW/SOPs Accurate waste streaming through the area to maximise environmental and financial benefits Ensure adherence to all safety requirements in the area. Experience, Skills, and Attributes: Be proactive, inquisitive with a passion for challenging teams to drive performance. Be able to work under pressure whilst maintaining high standards. Should be flexible and respond positively and accurately to internal and external customer requests. Excellent customer relationship skills with the ability to develop good working relationships at all levels. Have excellent PC skills and be able to understand and harness IT and systems to benefit the operation. Be able to demonstrate previous relevant warehouse experience.
