We are currently looking for a Business Co-ordinator to join our team.
Main Duties:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning and co-ordination of the effective delivery of consistent support to the Head of Adult Services, the Head of Housing and Communities, and Principal Officers in managing the business of the Social Services, Housing and Community Safety Directorate.
You will have experience in/of:
* Knowledge of Social Care legislation and its application throughout the Adult Services Directorate, Housing, Homelessness, APBs (Area Planning Board) and CSPs (Community Safety Partnership)
* Experience of contributing to the development and implementation of plans and policies
* Experience of communicating/liaising with Senior Management and other staff working in multi-agency settings, social work staff, and members of the general public
* Experience of communicating/liaising with senior managers from external statutory and non-statutory agencies
* Experience of minute taking in multi-agency meetings
* Knowledge of formal quality management and project and programme management methodologies
* Knowledge of performance and change management
* Ability to work on own initiative
* Ability to work to tight timescales
Ideally you will have:
* 4 GCSE’s at grade C or above
* Degree or recognized professional accreditation in quality management or project management methodologies
* Administrative or management related NVQ level 3 or equivalent
* Attainment or working towards NVQ Level 4 in management
