Our client are a small but growing accounting firm who are seeking a Qualified Accountant based in Milton Keynes on a full time permanent basis. They specialise in providing accountancy solutions to contractors and the self employed. They want someone who specialises in managerial accounting to help oversee operations and manage the workflow of the team.
Responsibilities of the Qualified Accountant
Oversee and audit in-house bookkeepers.
Prepare and submit year end accounts, corporate tax returns and VAT submissions.
Managerial Accounting including generating and analysing financial statements, budget plans, profit and lost statements and forecasting.
Accounting services on behalf of clients including bookkeeping, self-assessments and preparation and submission of year end accounts.
Requirements for a successful Qualified Accountant
Qualified AAT Level 4 or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years Managerial Accounting experience.
Proven Bookkeeping experience.
Strong IT skills with proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks.
Excellent working knowledge of risk analysis, budgeting and forecasting.
Summary of the Qualified Accountant role
Salary: £35,000 - £42,000
Location: Milton Keynes

Hours: Full time, Monday - Friday
