One Sure Insurance are one of the UK's fastest growing independently owned Insurance Brokers. We are purely based in the UK with our Head Office located in Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire and 5 other sites across the UK, including the Midlands, the South, and Wales.
Due to our ongoing growth and expansion, we are now looking to recruit a Customer Service New Business and Administration Advisor who is a positive and motivated individual with a vast amount of experience and a wide cross-section of skills.
We offer a competitive basic salary up to £24,000.00 DOE with OTE up to £30,000.
Shifts:
Week 1 - 09:00 - 17:30
Week 2 - 10:30 - 19:00
Every other Saturday 09:00 - 14:00
Place of work: The business is open to hybrid working following an initial onboarding induction on site and successful completion of training.
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
1. To work within the customer service department processing, auditing, and administrating all new business cases.
2. The employee will support the firm's goals by demonstrating excellent customer service skills with a keen eye for detail and will act as a referral point for the organisation.
3. Handling the day-to-day administration of client policies via telephone, email, face-to-face, written communication, and day-to-day administration.
4. Accuracy is key in this role.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
1. Educated to a minimum of grade C in Maths and English.
2. Good keyboard skills including knowledge of the internet and e-mail.
3. Excellent telephone manner and customer service skills and the ability to work under pressure.
4. Experience of providing specialised advice to support customer requirements - preferably in a Contact Centre.
5. Ability to identify and match our products with customer enquiries.
6. Excellent attention to detail.
7. Insurance knowledge desirable.
8. CII Qualified or ability to work towards desirable.
ACCOUNTABILITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
1. To ensure the new business process is followed and all client documents issued.
2. To ensure that the Audit function is supported to ensure all cases are booked on within the required SLA.
3. To perform and complete business transactions in accordance with the Firm’s Compliance Manual and FCA regulations.
4. To deal with all incoming and outgoing calls including Insurer calls, emails, post, Web Chat, written communication, and face-to-face enquiries in a timely and efficient manner.
5. To process and resolve customer requests, issuing copy policies for production purposes within strict service level agreements.
6. To maintain accurate and secure records of customers and their products.
7. To support the department with all administration duties and complete all supporting documentation accurately, notifying the policy underwriters of any adjustments, calculating any premium changes, and remittance of premium refunds including bonus confirmations.
8. To support the departmental key performance indicators and targets as directed by the Team Leader.
9. To embrace change and support continuous improvements across the department.
10. To maintain their professional competence by complying always with the training and competence procedures of the firm.
11. To take responsibility for own training and development.
12. To undertake all other reasonable duties as required and directed.
