Your new companyYou will be joining an industry-leading contractor based in the Birmingham area operating in the water sector. This multi-accredited and established organisation has a strong pipeline of work with Severn Trent and offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. Due to continued success, they are looking to onboard a Commissioning Engineer to join their team.
This is a full-time permanent position working on non-infrastructure projects across the Severn Trent region.
Your new roleAs Commissioning Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
* Preparing and maintaining detailed commissioning records and documentation
* Coordinating commissioning activities
* Chairing commissioning meetings with subcontractors and the client as and when required
* Reviewing and signing off commissioning documentation and RAMS
* Troubleshooting and resolving issues identified during commissioning
* Conducting pre-commissioning inspections and testing of equipment and systems.
What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful, you must have:
* Proven commissioning experience in the water industry, ideally on non-infrastructure projects
* Process knowledge around treatment and water movement
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office packages
* Full UK driving licence.

* Starting salary up to £65,000 per annum (negotiable depending on experience)
