The firm who boast an excellent working culture and staff retention - are a highly reputable, award winning firm with a strong base of clients and require a Risk & Compliance Officer to work across their multiple sites in Yorkshire. The Risk & Compliance Officer will take responsibility for the day-to-day compliance & management ensuring the law firm's regulatory obligations and their professional and practice standards remain compliant at all times. You will be a figurehead ensuring the firm maintains its compliance with regulatory standards, protecting the interests of our teams and clients. You will act as a ‘go-to’ for compliance matters and play an instrumental role in managing risk across our organisation. For the Risk & Compliance Officer position, a minimum of 3 years’ experience within compliance & risk management within the legal sector is required, knowledge on COLP, COFA and AML along with other relevant, legal financial and data protection legislation and frameworks. Proficient at identifying and managing potential risks, putting timely, workable solutions in place and making recommendations for continuous improvement.
