• Lead, mentor and motivate the security staff and team leaders across all sites.
• Line manager responsibility for security team leaders and second line manager for security staff.
• Monitor the safety, performance and wellbeing of all staff.
• Reporting all absences in a timely manner to the security operations manager and take any necessary action to ensure correct staff numbers.
• Ensure all staff are briefed accordingly by team leaders.
• Draw up weekly staff rosters ensuring all shifts are covered. In conjunction with the Security Admin Officer Booking and allocation of staff holidays.
• In the absence of the Security admin officer maintain staff attendance records, including inputting information on to ESR and SMART IT systems within agreed Trust timeframes.
• Provide day to day supervision and direction to the security / car parking officers on site
• Provide day to day support to the security operations manager and Heads of Security in a wide range of duties.
• To provide a high quality and effective security service for staff, patients and visitors to ensure a safe and secure environment.
• Protect NCA property, detect and prevent crime.
• Helping users, including the public, and acting as the first point of contact on minor travel and parking enquiries and issues.
• Monitoring and controlling parking areas to ensure safe and effective operation.
