Do you have a qualified technical background that can be applied to domestic property? Do you have a comprehensive knowledge of the mandatory and statutory requirements for social housing property safety? Do you have a background of managing contractors?
Job purpose:
As the Cyclical and Compliance Officer for Queens Cross Housing Association, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring that we comply with our legal obligations in relation to tenant safety and cyclical maintenance. Whilst social housing experience is advantageous, it is not essential – we are looking for candidates that understand the technical aspects of gas safety, water safety (such as managing legionella risk), lift safety, electrical safety, and fire safety.
You will:
* Ensure that we understand and deliver our legal obligations for tenant property safety.
* Manage contractors.
* Assist in the organisation and management of cyclical maintenance.
* Build relationships and influence decision-making to enhance service delivery.
* Be comfortable implementing digital solutions and using software systems.
* Have excellent communication skills to engage with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
