About Our Role: The Head of Employee Relations & People Delivery is a senior leadership role responsible for the development and implementation of all employee relations strategies and processes. The role will also play a key role in leading and delivering a meaningful and motivating people partnering strategy that plays a key role in how NWF attracts, retains and grows talent and positions NWF as an employer of choice regionally and nationally. Collaborating closely with the HRSLT and wider HR team, this role will be integral in embedding the NWF culture and behaviours in all HR activities and interactions. Core Role Accountabilities: Collaborate with the Chief People Officer and other members of the HR Senior Leadership Team (HRSLT) to deliver and execute the Employee Relations and People Partnering Plan and Strategy for NWF, using data, trends and insights which ensures NWF behaviours are embedded, and people needs and priorities are address and adding tangible value. Own the delivery and execution of employee relations across NWF, always ensuring compliance with employment legislation. Working with the HR Business Partnering team and third parties to anticipate and identify employee relations risks, trends and develop action plans for mitigation, including tracking and managed costs and associated budgets. Champion, lead and deliver employee relations learning and development across the HR team, incorporating legislation changes, best practice and lessons learnt. Ensure HR policies and practices encompass meaningful DEI considerations, are up to date, and that relevant legislative changes are communicated and embedded efficiently across NWF. Bring innovative approaches to enhancing the delivery of the wider People Plan across the organisation. Work with the HRSLT and wider team members to ensure clear, informative employee communications to enable information to be shared and understood by colleagues. Responsible for third party relationships with legal partners, forecasting and tracking budgets and providing regular reporting. Act as HR representative in internal committees and forums as appropriate. Collaborate with the Senior HR Business Manager on data and reporting for the HRSLT, Exco and Board (as applicable). Oversee procurement activity relating to the delivery of Employee Relations and People Plan. Lead the delivery of projects and other duties as required. Take a leadership role in coaching and development of wider team members. Knowledge, Skill and Experience Requirements: Extensive experience in a senior HR leadership role, ideally in financial services. Public sector experience is desirable but not essential. Comprehensive practical, legal and theoretical employee relations knowledge and experience. Proven experience in a professional, fast paced environment. Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in all aspects people partnering and employee relations, including leading diverse teams. Extensive experiences in stakeholder management, including internal and external lawyers, tribunals, government and shareholder. Exceptional interpersonal and listening skills, combined with strong problem-solving skills, combine with a positive “can do attitude”. Ability to think creatively and deliver innovative solution. Numerate, logical, organised and flexible approach to problem solving. Fellow of the CIPD or equivalent experience. Bachelor's degree and significant of related work experience.
