We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join the Asset Delivery Team at Yorkshire Water and be a part of helping Yorkshire Water to provide the best service to our customers. Could this be you?

This role will be in the Asset Delivery Team which will be focusing on delivery of key projects of varying sizes to fulfil our AMP8 Programme.

Where you fit in:
As a Project Manager you will:
* Join our Asset Delivery Team, managing and successfully delivering capital projects to time, cost & quality, focusing on delivering projects within our Waste and Clean Water Asset Base.
* Keep a spotlight on health and safety, carbon net zero targets and environmental sustainability ensuring they remain top priorities.
* Manage budgets for multiple projects concurrently spanning different financial years.
* Lead a project team of YW, partner colleagues and other internal/external parties to deliver your programme of works.
* Manage expectations of key stakeholders and seek relevant approvals as required.
* Be part of a wider team of Project Managers working together to deliver the overall Capital programme.
* Ensure accurate project data is maintained in various systems, including monthly forecasting of expenditure and key milestone dates.
* Experience working in a project team or similar environment.
* Budget management and interpretation of financial data.
* Strong IT skills and proficiency in the use of MS Office.
* Strong communicator both written and verbally.
* Able to build strong working relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
* Personable nature and collaborative approach.
* Problem solver to work through and mediate project issues.
* Comfortable working independently and taking the initiative.
* Confidence to challenge and question to ensure project success.
* A Full UK Driving Licence.
You will also benefit from having:
* Previous experience working as a project manager in the water industry or broader construction industry.
* NEC Accreditation.
* APMQ (or similar).
* Working Knowledge of CDM 2015.
We embrace a flexible working model, where our hybrid setup typically requires an average of 1 to 2 days in the office per week plus travel to sites across the Yorkshire region. This could be slightly more when collaborative efforts, training or meeting deadlines demand it. For those who prefer to work on-site, our office is open Monday-Friday during working hours.
