If you’re motivated to enhance the lives of residents by delivering a diverse and stimulating activity program, we want to hear from you About The Role As our Activities Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of our residents’ day-to-day experience. Your responsibilities will include: Resident Wellbeing: Designing and delivering a range of activities to enhance intellectual, social, and emotional wellbeing. Personalised Planning: Identifying resident needs and preferences through assessment, observation, and discussion. Creative Programming: Developing a varied program of group and individual activities, theme events, and outings in collaboration with residents, relatives, and colleagues. Community Engagement: Building relationships with local organisations to bring external resources, sponsorships, and volunteers into the home. Safe Delivery: Conducting risk assessments to ensure the safety and comfort of residents during all activities and events. Ongoing Evaluation: Keeping records of participation, reviewing programs regularly, and adapting to meet residents’ changing needs. You’ll also play an important role in fundraising, supporting colleagues to integrate activities into residents’ daily lives, and contributing to our vibrant and welcoming environment. About You We’re looking for someone with: A warm, professional, and engaging personality. Experience organising activities and managing budgets. Knowledge of older people’s needs, including those living with dementia. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and engage residents, families, and colleagues. A proactive, organised approach and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Essential Qualifications: Satisfactory Enhanced DBS Check.
