BAND 5 - THEATRE PRACTITIONER (MAIN THEATRES SCRUB, ROBOT, UROLOGY & COLORECTAL SPECIALITIES)
Full time - 37.5 Hours
We are looking to recruit enthusiastic and motivated Band 5 ODP's or Registered Nurses for our Theatres. All practitioners have an opportunity to undertake training and development that will allow progression towards this role.
We are the Specialist Vascular Centre for the Black Country covering Dudley, Walsall and Wolverhampton and we have dedicated vascular theatre with close links to the Interventional Radiology suite. We have become the Midland Orthopaedic Centre and an Endometriosis Centre.

Main duties of the job
The post holder is responsible for the care needs of patients within Theatres and Day Surgery Theatres. He/she will be expected to carry out all relevant forms of care and will be expected to demonstrate/ teach registered/unregistered staff and supervise junior staff as applicable to level of competence.
The post holder will participate in maintaining an environment that is conducive to the delivery and maintenance of a high standard of individualised holistic patient care, and to the establishment of good communications and relationships between staff, patients, relatives and visitors.

* Registration with HCPC or NMC
* For NMC Registered - Requirement to complete six-month preceptorship or equivalent
* IT literate or commitment to undertake training

* Robot, Urology & Colorectal Scrub experience
