The role:
As businesses look to address the susainabiity challenges they face, our client is seeking a highly technical and detail-oriented Energy Auditor/Project Manager to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting site energy audits nationwide, analysing client energy usage, and identifying opportunities for energy and emission savings across a diverse range of industries, including manufacturing, food processing, warehousing, and retail.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct national site energy audits to assess and evaluate energy usage.
* Analyse client energy consumption data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
* Identify and recommend energy and emission reduction opportunities across diverse sectors such as manufacturing, food processing, cold storage, metal processing, warehousing, and retail.
* Provide support for ESOS assessments for a wide range of clients.
* Meet with clients to evaluate their suitability for ESOS participation.
* Coordinate with subcontractors and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.
* Review and assess energy audit reports and collaborate with clients to implement energy-saving strategies.
* Stay informed about the latest energy legislation, technologies, and industry trends.
* Assist in the analysis and reporting of sustainability data, including CCA, EII, SECR, Min/Met, and greenhouse gas reporting.
What are we looking for?
* A technical individual with experience in project management.
* Good experience in energy auditing.
* Proficient in recommending energy-saving solutions across various systems.
* Knowledgeable in submetering practices.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Excellent numeracy abilities, including the capability to calculate potential energy savings.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
* Higher education or equivalent experience in a relevant field (e.g., degree or apprenticeship in electrical engineering, energy management, engineering, or other STEM disciplines).
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
