Our client, an established national Financial company, due to an exciting period of expansion, are currently recruiting a diligent, hardworking and proactive Accounts Assistant to join their team.
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, key responsibilities will include:
1. Assist with monthly management accounts
2. Purchase / sales ledger duties including month end
3. Issue monthly statements
4. Assist with credit control & payroll as and when required
5. Process bank payments & receipts
6. Regular reconciliation of all bank accounts
7. Control & process the cash needs within the business including foreign currency requirements
8. Assist in preparation of a variety of regular & ad hoc financial & administrative reports
9. Ensure the finance filing is kept up to date in a timely manner
As a successful candidate, you will have prior experience within a similar role with a good working knowledge of spreadsheets and accounting software, strong organisational skills, and the ability to prioritise your workload together with a great eye for accuracy.
