Electrical Maintenance Engineer at NSS Testing

Salary dependent on experience + plenty of overtime opportunities

The Division
NSS Testing are all about a varied workload from replacing a single lamp to installing a fully automated vehicle gate with access and intercom control. We offer a comprehensive design, manufacturing, installation and maintenance service for all types of electrical installations ranging from Industrial, commercial electrical installations inc fire alarm and emergency lighting installations, automatic doors, gates, roller shutters, CCTV systems and many more.
Role Responsibilities
The role we are looking to fill is for an Electrical Engineer to work within our skilled team of Electrical engineers. Your job will include:
1. To deliver servicing, maintenance and repairs to electrical equipment including the following, along with the undertaking of all required college work:
1. Weekly and monthly fire alarm testing
2. Weekly and monthly emergency lighting testing
3. External lighting, high bay lighting repairs and replacements
4. Access control systems, fault finding, repairs and replacement
5. General electrical repairs and installations
2. On call rota included
3. Travel and working away where required
4. Ensuring that health and safety regulations and guidelines are followed at all times and to comply with British Standards.
5. To highlight any further works required following service or reactive works.
6. Support of other divisions when and where required

Experience/Skills Required
1. Smart and professional appearance and manner
2. Full, clean driving license or a provisional licence for suitable candidate
3. Must have the required qualifications for course enrolment
4. Must have the ability to work productively within a team
5. Must have the ability to follow instruction
6. The candidate must have good communication skills, be well organised and have good attention to detail
