An opportunity has arisen for capable individuals with an eye for detail to join our Production team in the role of Bin Mender. The purpose of this role is to ensure fruit bins are mended up to required standard for storing the fruit following safe systems of work. Responsibilities Include: Completing tasks as set by the Bin Mending Supervisor/Engineering Manager. Ensuring all procedures and policies are followed. Assisting pack houses as needed. Assisting with ground maintenance, including grass mowing, bush trimming, painting. Ability to use appropriate tools for the job. Goatham, our products and processes Customer focussed; able to provide a pragmatic and responsive service.Builds strong relationships throughout the organisation The ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines/meet set targets Comfortable with a physical role where manual handling is a frequent requirement The hours you would work: Our packing facility operates 7 days per week, with a rota system in place over 6 days.Our Packhouse staff tend to work an average of 50 hours per week.We do tend to work long hours but we reflect this in our competitive pay structure.As a result, this role would only be suited to candidates who are able to be flexible.
