Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept: Implement, monitor, and review company-wide Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures. Collaborate with managers to ensure compliance with the latest legislation and maintain safe working environments across the UK, with occasional international travel. Lead the development of Health & Safety training programs and help ensure a safe, sustainable work culture. Conduct regular audits, risk assessments, and safety investigations, making impactful improvements as needed. Advise senior leadership on health, safety, and environmental matters, providing recommendations to safeguard our business operations. Work closely with managers on business continuity plans, ensuring critical functions are never disrupted. What You Bring to the Table: Essential: NEBOSH Diploma in Health & Safety (or equivalent qualification). IEMA or equivalent Environmental qualification/experience. Proven experience in safety management systems development and implementation. Excellent communication and presentation skills – you’re a confident leader and skilled at interacting with stakeholders at all levels. Ability to analyse complex legislation and turn it into actionable steps. Full driving license with the flexibility to travel. Desirable: Experience with ISO 14001, 18001, 45001, or similar certifications. Geotechnical site services safety experience (RAMS, RPA, etc.).
