LEEDS LS6 Are you interested in supporting our son with accessing activities at home and within his local and wider community? SEN experience would be desirable but not essential. Most importantly we would like someone with a fun and friendly personality to build a positive relationship with our son “I am a happy, friendly and fun 12 year old boy. I enjoy going to the park, sensory play (I really love water play activities), swimming and going to soft play areas. I enjoy playing with Lego, counting blocks and singing. I can communicate with Makaton along with some verbal language, I also have a communication book I can use if I am struggling to find the words or signs. I have no awareness of danger so when out in the community you will need to keep me safe” Routine is particularly important so we need someone who is conscientious We have 5.5 hours per week, we are happy for these to be used flexibly over weekends and school holidays as long as these are planned in advance so we can prepare our son.
