Role: Electrician/Field Service Engineer Location: Midlands Based A UK-registered company, established in February 2015, operates as a subsidiary of a larger group with headquarters in Athens, Greece. The group has subsidiaries in various countries, including Romania and Libya, and specializes in project development and construction within the energy and infrastructure sectors. The UK subsidiary focuses on Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) of renewable energy projects. In recent years, it has primarily concentrated on the UK solar market, delivering comprehensive solutions for grid-connected PV plants. To date, the company has participated in numerous renewable energy tenders across the UK, Ireland, Denmark, and Africa, successfully completing EPC contracts worth over £20 million in turnover. Currently, the company is in the process of establishing a business partnership in Alberta, Canada, aiming to take part in solar and wind energy tenders. Job Description: Execute corrective maintenance duties as directed by maintenance manager Execute everyday maintenance of the solar plants, varying from custodial activities necessary for the good operation of the solar plants to more technical electrical works Follow maintenance schedules as outlined Operate Low Voltage and/or High Voltage switch gear as directed by company’s control engineer on duty (in-house training and third-party certifications will be provided) Inspect and verify status of assets Make repairs and adjustments as needed Troubleshoot by consulting electrical diagrams, schematics and other sources as necessary Responding to company’s maintenance emergency needs Coordinate efforts across maintenance staff to make sure all tasks are completed in a timely fashion Keep in line with the company’s Safe System of Works and procedures Requirements BS7671 18th Edition C&G 2391 Test & Inspect HV AP EXPERIENCE: 3 years Driver licence B1 English level Midlands based
