CCL Global are currently recruiting for a Diesel Generator (Technical) Process Engineer to be based in Bristol. The successful applicant will be a key appointment to the project and will work within the client's integrated Technical Team to lead the development and execution phase activities on the Diesel Generators related to the design, manufacturing, qualification, installation, and commissioning of the diesel Generators.
Location: Bristol
(Contract) - Hybrid Work
Key duties will include:
1. Assist the CEL in resolving technical issues related to the equipment design, manufacturing, and qualification.
2. Watch the design documentation as specified in the list of documents from the contractor.
3. Work within the diesel system engineers as required to assure design interfaces are correct.
4. Assist CEL with the management and tracking of design risks, preparation assessments.
5. Respond to supplier requests.
6. Assist the CEL with configuration management.
7. Manage interfaces between the contractor's equipment with the scope of supply and interfacing systems.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's/Master's degree in related engineering fields.
2. Knowledge and experience with some of the following equipment: Instrumentation, Pressure Equipment (Valves and tanks), Fitters, Piping and ducting, Rotating Equipment (Motors, Pumps and Compressors), Heat Exchangers.
3. Experience with Diesel Generators.
4. Some project management/engineering experience.
5. Nuclear experience.
6. Knowledge of UK regulatory requirements (CDM, COSHH, IRR, etc.).
7. Experience with British ISO Standards.
