Your Role as Group Environmental & Sustainability Manager In this pivotal year, as Group Environmental & Sustainability Manager within the Asset Strategy team, you will act as sustainability and environmental champion for the group. You will take the lead on the implementation and periodic review of our environmental & sustainability strategy, working with colleagues to embed change and managing projects to ensure that we are meeting our environmental targets including the achievement of net-zero carbon by 2050. You will lead a team responsible for delivery of an ambitious programme of decarbonisation works, including grant funded programmes such as Warm Homes Social Housing Fund (WF:SHF). Managing all aspects including grant applications, procurement, contract and budget management for the planned £10m, 3-year programme of works to properties across the country. This is a permanent contract, working 36.25 hours per week. What You Will Bring Knowledge of environmental and carbon legislation and an awareness of the broader climate change agenda. Experience of delivering decarbonisation and energy efficiency projects preferably for a registered provider. Skilled in data gathering, able to bring together data from a variety of sources and stakeholders and communicate effectively with external stakeholders, customers and peers.
