Sewell Wallis are working with a leading business in a growing sector who are looking to recruit a Financial Accountant for their team in Leeds.
This will suit candidates who are ideally Practice trained looking to make a first move into Industry and the role will offer a long term career development plan.
What will you be doing?
1. Preparing the monthly profit and loss statement.
2. Statutory reporting.
3. Preparing intercompany account reconciliations.
4. Implementing and managing financial controls and risk.
5. Assisting with the delivery of continuous process and control improvements.
6. Preparing VAT returns.
7. Supporting with tax reporting and compliance.
8. Supporting the wider finance team with ongoing projects.
What skills are we looking for?
1. Fully qualified Accountant, ideally ACA/ACCA.
2. Strong financial reporting, audit and accounts preparation background.
3. Experience of working in a fast paced environment.
4. Ambitious individual who is self motivated.
5. Ability to work with senior stakeholders across the business.
6. Excellent analytical skills.
