An exciting opportunity awaits a motivated and ambitious small animal Veterinary Surgeon in the coastal town of Redcar. The client is set to open a new independent practice in Summer 2025 and is looking for a dynamic professional to join their team.
Job Details:
* This role offers the potential to lead and mentor a team, aiding in the development and growth of the practice.
* The client provides full support in the setting up, running, and development of the new practice, including the opportunity to carry out keyhole surgery at their sister site.

Key Responsibilities:
* Operate a 40-hour week over four days (8.30 am to 6.30 pm), including paid designated breaks.
* Work Saturday mornings (8.30 am till 12 pm consults only) on a rota basis, with time back in lieu the following week.
* No out-of-hours or on-call duties.
* Maintain a high level of clinical freedom and manage a diverse caseload.
The Practice:
* The practice is based in Redcar and prides itself on being independent, meaning they make their own decisions and can implement changes or investments quickly.
* They offer the opportunity to pursue areas of interest, supporting and funding relevant certificates.
Benefits:
* Competitive salary between £55,000-£75,000 p/a, commensurate with experience, plus a bonus scheme.
* RCVS / VDS fees paid.
* CPD allowance of £1500, plus four days.
* Five weeks of holidays, plus bank holidays.
* No bank holiday working.
* Relocation package up to £3K available (for non-agency applicants).
* Visa Sponsorship Licence in place.
