The purpose of this role is to design, build, and commission fully automated production and test machinery. You’ll be collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to manage automation projects and provide technical guidance. Key Responsibilities of the Senior Mechatronics Engineer: You will be responsible for managing automation projects, designing electromechanical systems, developing complex machine control system PLCs, and programming robotic systems. You will also design electrical and pneumatic control systems. Skills and Experience required for the Senior Mechatronics Engineer: The ideal candidate will be degree educated with hands-on experience in automation project management, machine design, and control system development, with strong skills in Mitsubishi robots, and vision systems for automated measurement and inspection. You will also be confident liaising with suppliers and commissioning automated machinery.
