Job Duties:
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for Key Stage 1 and 2 students - Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to students, parents, and senior leadership - Create a supportive learning environment that promotes student progress and well-being - Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies - Participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development activities
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Knowledge of the Key Stage 1 and 2 curriculum - Strong classroom management skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
Experience:
- Proven experience teaching Key Stage 1 and 2 students - Experience working in a diverse classroom setting
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of different learning styles and ability to adapt teaching methods accordingly - Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues - Strong organisational and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Education - Additional training in special educational needs (SEN) or inclusive education
Working Conditions:
- Fast-paced school environment - Regular interaction with students, parents, and colleagues - Potential for additional responsibilities outside of regular teaching hours

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
