BMW Group Financial Services UK is looking for a Sales Analyst. This role is based at the Summit ONE Campus in Farnborough.
The Sales Analyst role is responsible for the provision, development and application of advanced sales and pricing analytics that generate insights and for translating those insights into effective frontline action by the business lines.
What awaits you?
* Providing key customer and product data insights to support the achievement of customer and sales growth targets.
* Proactively identifying internal and external 'big data' elements to enable advanced analytics and faster decision-making.
* Developing and maintaining pricing mechanisms and tools to facilitate accurate testing of IT systems and business scenarios.
* Providing robust customer, sales, and pricing analysis to support the feasibility of new business products and initiatives.
* Conducting complex analysis on business scenarios, identifying trends, and making proactive recommendations for business improvement initiatives.
* Conducting post-implementation performance reviews to identify successes and failures and propose adjustments to sales products and initiatives.
* Challenging business proposals that fall outside of pricing parameters.
* Preparing the underlying business and product data and calculations required for accurate pricing and profitability assessments.
* Preparing Quarterly Tactical Campaigns and coordinating the end-to-end process with relevant stakeholders.
* Resolving Pricing Inbox queries and defining and coordinating related processes with Sales, Operations, Finance, and Risk teams.
What should you bring along?
* Experience in the financial services industry either in a pricing related or management accounting role
* Experience in a role which demonstrates the individual can make difficult decisions within a limited time frame incorporating financial and commercial information
* A proven track record operating in a motor financing / leasing environment is desirable
* Strong analytical skills
* Data manipulation and modelling skills
* Ability to present complex and varied data in a way that is appropriate to the audience and facilitates understanding
* Good knowledge of pricing and modelling techniques and approaches.
* Good knowledge of the automotive financial services industry
* Good understanding of commercial, legal, tax and accounting framework around motor finance and leasing
* Ability to work effectively in a time pressured environment and prioritise own workload
* Influencing, persuading and relationship management skills to build working relationships with key stakeholders across the business and with external key stakeholders
