About the Role
The ANZ Media Manager plays a critical role in the development and execution of Ferrero media strategies across Australia and New Zealand. This involves managing media agency relationships, overseeing media budgets, driving digital priorities, and ensuring the effectiveness and optimization of media campaigns. Success in this role requires delivering measurable media results, fostering collaboration across teams, and supporting broader marketing objectives within the Region.
Main Responsibilities
1. Manage the ANZ Media strategy definition.
2. Translate the business/marketing/communications objectives into measurable media/digital objectives, setting KPIs and related targets against internal/external benchmarks, including media innovation opportunities.
3. Execute the delivery of media insights across all categories and brands to marketing teams, including communication and competitive media analysis.
4. Support the development of content strategy and plan in coherence with objectives and platform specifics.
5. Align with Group/Area/Region guidelines and processes leveraging available best practices.
6. Leverage enhanced media planning tools to maximize profitability.
7. Develop the ANZ media roadmap that identifies key discontinuities and actions over a rolling 12-month timeframe.
8. Lead cluster meetings - Media, Category, Reviews and contribute to Region, Area meetings & Reviews.
Manage Media Planning and Buying for the ANZ Cluster
1. Implement media process including budget setting, integrated communications briefing, annual planning, and campaign reviews.
2. Review and approve agency proposals in response to category objectives, KPIs, and budget.
3. Manage key digital partners to execute JBPs driving innovation in the use of digital touchpoints.
4. Support the optimization of traditional/digital campaigns, checking against internal and external benchmarks.
5. Deliver PCA (post-campaign analysis) and comprehensive summary of media campaign results.
6. Monitor and report all media activities and maintain flowcharts and KPI benchmarks database.
7. Ensure correct spend of media budget in line with contracts and guarantees.
8. Manage media deliveries with strategic media and content partners.
Who We Are Looking For
1. Proven work experience in Media for FMCG industry is required, either in the agency role or in-house.
2. Strong knowledge of the ANZ Media market with a solid understanding of Offline & Online marketing tools.
3. Extensive experience managing TV, digital platforms, and campaigns.
4. High organizational skills, with a strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
5. Proven ability to manage projects and ensure timelines are met.
6. Meticulous attention to detail and strong numerical acumen.
7. Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
9. Proactive, solutions-driven mindset focused on delivering results.
