Joining bonus of £1000 for experience/qualified Senior Life Practitioners with Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare.
£30,716.88 - £33,356.60 per annum DOE
We are looking for Senior Life Practitioners to join our team at our Children's Residential Homes Church View and The Old Vicarage. Both homes are located within four acres of the beautiful quiet village Swinderby, just ten miles from the centre of Lincoln.
We are looking for a compassionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated Senior Life Practitioner to join our team. As a Senior Life Practitioner you will be reporting into the Registered Manager, the Senior Support Worker is responsible for advocating and providing person centred care and supporting our staff team to perform their wide range of duties appropriately and effectively, ensuring they can deliver the best possible care and support to our residents.
We provide a company vehicle that can be used to transport the people we support to community activities such as shopping, meals, appointments, and outings. To drive the company vehicle you must have held a full UK drivers licence or have been driving in the UK for 2 years or more.

About You
What experience and qualifications do you need:
• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare
• Demonstrable experience supporting individuals with a learning disability, autism and associated complex needs
• Excellent written and oral communication skills to include computer literacy
What will you be doing:
• Lead by example, behave and communicate appropriately at all times.
• Positively contribute to the personal development of our young people with both practical and emotional support.
• Participate in a wide range of exciting activities within the home and wider community
• Use knowledge and experience to contribute positively to care planning and participate supportively in reviews as requested
• Maintain accurate, clear and concise record keeping.
• Take ownership for developing and strengthening links with families, friends and relevant significant others.
• Work in partnership with the Night Team Leader to ensure streamlined service delivery and consistent communication throughout the site.
• Proactively participate in supporting the staff team carrying out regular supervisions as requested.
• Attend and contribute positively to regular staff meetings and hand-over meetings, ensuring all relevant information is disseminated appropriately and in a timely manner.
• Contribute positively to the training and development of the staff team to include own personal development / highlighting any training needs.
