ROLE: Fire & Security Engineer - Fire Alarm, Intruder, Access, and CCTV Systems
You will be responsible for the installation, commissioning and servicing of fire and security systems, including Fire Alarm Systems, Intruder Alarms, CCTV Systems, and Access Control, Emergency Lighting Systems and extinguishers. Fire Alarm Commissioning experience highly desirable. Proven experience in the Fire and Security industry is essential.
EXPERIENCE: Fire & Security Engineer - Fire Alarm, Intruder, Access, and CCTV Systems
You will be a skilled professional with experience in the installation, commissioning, and servicing of fire and security systems, including fire alarm systems, intruder alarms, CCTV systems, access control systems, emergency lighting systems, and fire extinguishers. A strong background in wiring and a solid understanding of electronic principles are essential for this role. Fire alarm commissioning experience is highly desirable, and relevant qualifications in fire and security systems or electrical engineering are a significant advantage. A valid driver’s license is required, as the position involves covering North London.
Electrical or Fire Systems BDS Accreditations or Fire Industry Association (FIA) certification, BTEC Level 3 in Fire Detection & Alarm Systems, or NVQ Level 2/3 in Electronic Security and Emergency Systems are highly desirable. Additional qualifications such as ECS, IPAF, CSCS, and accreditation from the National Security Inspectorate (NSI) or Security Systems and Alarms Inspection Board (SSAIB) would be advantageous.
