Purchasing Assistant - temp to perm

I am working with a growing business based in St Neots with a need for support in their purchasing team. You will need to be able to commute to St Neots on a daily basis.

Responsibilities will include:
1. Generate, edit and process purchase orders to match any requirements
2. Ensuring all purchase requirements are fulfilled in a timely manner
3. Chasing outstanding purchase orders
4. Resolve any delivery and invoice discrepancies in a timely manner
5. Raising new supplier accounts and maintaining supplier information
6. Sending reminder letters for annual subscriptions
7. Building / maintaining relationships with existing and new suppliers
8. Checking supplier invoices match company purchase orders
9. Any other administrative task as required to support the purchasing function on an ongoing and adhoc basis
